Riverside Village Holiday Park

Our AwardsRiverside Village Holiday Park is a peaceful, picturesque site with an abundance of wildlife and mature trees. We are situated in 24 acres of countryside alongside the River Crouch, 7 miles from Southend-on-Sea.

The park is licensed for 175 static holiday homes and up to 60 tourers and tents with electric hook-up.


Tourers and Rallies

Tourers and rallies enjoy the same welcome on our 5 acre grassed and level field.

These pitches include use of a heated shower and toilet block, which includes a separate purpose built disabled & family room with shower and WC with access via the RADAR key system.

Pitches at Riverside Village Holiday Park also include the use of our laundry, drying area, refuse disposal and chemical disposal point.

There are also facilities for motor home and caravan waste disposal and fresh water filling points. We also have numerous Elsan points and all electrical hook-ups are 16 amps.

The grass pitches are tended by the park, although some owners prefer to maintain their rental pitch.


Wildlife and Nature

Riverside Village Holiday Park is surrounded by Nature Reserves, SSI's and the Wallasea Island Wild Coast Project, which is a landmark conservation scheme and the largest of its type in Europe. There is an abundance of wildlife to see in the area. The network of footpaths guarantee that you can savour all that mother nature has to offer at first hand.


Fishing and Angling

There are a series of fishing lakes on the site which are available for keen anglers. Fishing on the site is for our residents only and passes are available at reception.

Static Holiday Homes

Who wouldn't love to have a holiday home in a village atmosphere in the Essex countryside. At Riverside Village Holiday Park you will find a warm welcome.

We do not allow sub-letting, so you can appreciate the peace and tranquillity without unknown strangers next door. All static homes have full mains services and LPG for cooking and are maintained to good standards.


Moorings & Slipway

The park can offer exclusivity to static caravan owners to use our privately owned slipway and moorings when available, so you can enjoy all the delights of the River Crouch and its many boating clubs have to offer.


Reception and Local Produce

Our reception stocks all the basics such as milk, eggs and bread, and the often forgotten essentials such as toilet rolls and toothbrushes. We also offer a selection of gifts and holiday souvenirs to remember your time at the park.

The local Newspaper Man from the nearby village of Canewdon visits the park every Sunday morning (and Bank Holiday Mondays) and offers freshly baked bread and other fresh produce. We also have a vending machine should you crave an out of hours snack.


Gas and Electricity

Electricity use on our static site is metered and charged annually. Pitches with electrical hookup are available on the touring site although availability is limited and a surplus is charged (see prices page).

We are stockists of CalorGas and FloGas and offer bottle exchanges during reception office hours.
